Date: August 24, 2026 Time: 12:30-2:30 Come to HES to meet your teacher and see your new classroom! The Hailey PTA will be there to share information and sign up new members during our membership drive. New students (including all kindergarten students) can also attend the orientation from 2:30 - 3:15 p.m.

The Hailey PTA is proud to announce that we approved a grant to help fund the 2026 - 2027 Family Friday Read events! These are great opportunities for parents to connect with their students and read together. Each event will feature a new book that you'll be able to read with your student and take home with you to add to your collection.

This year, Hailey PTA supported the Blaine County Education Foundation's program to provide funding for school lunches. This goes to provide access to meals for families at Hailey Elementary who do not qualify for federal support. Learn more about BCEF here: https://www.supportbcef.org/students-in-need/

This year our Speech Language Pathologists Gillian Hatch & Caitlin Head came to us with an amazing proposal. They were seeking $2,000 to purchase iPads to use for communication devices for students who needed additional assistance communicating independently. They were seeking 2 iPads. We got creative in fulfilling this grant! St. Luke's Health System donated Twenty used iPads for Gillian and Caitlin to use! Hailey PTA then funded the software needed (Total Communication)

2026 Grant approved for Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) training for our teachers. This allowed for a number of our teachers to participate in a school-wide training program.
